FAQ - Home Stays

How are families chosen?
We look for families that live within a reasonable distance from school, have ample living space, live in a clean, safe, comfortable environment, and enjoy hosting international students.

What if I want to change families?
In the unlikely event that you want to move to another family, the local school staff will assist in finding a family that is suited to your needs.

Are home stays the only option for accommodation?
We highly encourage our students to stay with local families because this is a unique opportunity learn about the local culture and to learn more Spanish for free. If you decide that living with a family is not for you, we will work with you to find alternative accommodation. The price of your trip may increase if you decide against home stays and we cannot guarantee that we will be able find alternative accommodation.
