Spanish for Mature Students in Tenerife

Do you want to learn spanish with your peers and enjoy the Spanish way of life? Spanish for Mature Students is for people age 50 or better on the island of Tenerife, where the weather is pleasant and the lifestyle is relaxed all year long.

The two week Spanish for Mature Students program will touch on a range of topics including Canary Island culture & history with a visit to Archeological museum, the history of Spanish art, Canary Island and Spanish folklore, political, cultural and economical topics of Spain today, a class on nature in the islands with a visit of the botanical garden, theoretical class of Spanish cooking with a visit to the local market and excursions to Puerto de la Cruz and to "Las Cañadas del Teide".

What's included:

• You combine the Spanish for Mature Students program with your choice of Spanish lessons for the two weeks.
• Activities are organized Monday through Friday for two weeks.
• 8 students maximum per Spanish lesson and program activities.
• All materials needed for Spanish lessons.
• Cultural activities (welcome dinner, Salsa and Merengue dance classes, trips to museums, movies, etc.)

Lodging in Tenerife, Spain:

• Home stay with a Spanish family
